Is the database encrypted?

Selected aspects (background check requests and results, medical information) of the information in your database can be encrypted within VSys. We use a combination of RSA and AES which allows any user on your system to write data into the encrypted records, but only those with the decryption key can extract the data.

You can always encrypt the data files used by SQL Server, or install SQL Server on an encrypted volume - this is transparent to VSys One.
