Copy/Paste Is Your Friend

In many places in VSys One, complex objects like setup options, custom HTML blocks, merge templates, visibility rules and others are sometimes a pain to create and even harder to re-create somewhere else in VSys. An easy way to copy items from one site to another, or even to another VSys database, is using the Windows clipboard.

Not everything works entirely right when you do this. For example, a custom HTML block that has a field in it that refers to an image that's not in the second VSys Live database won't actually link to an image that doesn't exist.

If you paste the contents of the Windows clipboard into Notepad, you'll see that all that's on the clipboard is some XML text. You can paste this into an e-mail and send that to someone else who can then copy the text to their clipboard then paste into their copy of VSys.
