Keyboards

VSys One kiosk mode needs a keyboard on the kiosk machine only if the volunteer will be filling out custom application forms on the kiosk. This would be used for new volunteers or for existing volunteers to update their personal information. If they won't be doing this, hide the keyboard - it will only cause problems.

If you do leave a keyboard out for volunteers to use, use an older keyboard, and glue the Ctrl, Windows, context menu and Alt keys in place. (Don't just remove them, a pen pushed through the key's opening would work just as well as the key itself.) A malicious or simply curious user could use these to exit out of kiosk mode and get full access to the computer it's running on.
