For swipe/scan values, VSys normally requires a seven character value. You can override this with a setting in the VSys.ini file,
[Kiosk] MinSwipeLen=x
where x is 5 or 6. No value less than five is accepted, and VSys will consider it to be seven if you do put in an invalid value here.
