Submitting Requests

For most background check vendors, the process of submitting requests is the same.

Steps in this task

  1. From the Screening panel click on Send automated requests.
  2. Select the appropriate Vendor.
  3. Click Count Available Records. If encryption is enabled, provide the decryption key: it will be needed for VSys to read the encrypted data which it must submit with every request.
  4. The list of records to be sent will be displayed. Only the records that are checked on this list will be sent.
  5. Under Authentication, enter the User name and Password for your organization. This is provided by the vendor, and Bespoke cannot assist in your relationship with the vendor.
  6. Enter any other required fields (the fields shown will vary depending on the background check vendor).
  7. For IntelliCorp only, check No instant results retrieval if available if you don't want VSys to immediately retrieve results from IntelliCorp even if the results are available immediately after submission.
  8. Click Send to send the requests.

The submission process can be automated using a scheduled task.
