Giving students credit for hours based on their trainings can be done in either or both of two places: the course's subject or the course itself. Setting up the crediting in the subject gives those same rules to all courses based on that subject if the has Credit students with volunteer hours set to "Use course subject settings". Choosing "Yes" here lets you specify the crediting rules for the course, and "No" gives students no credit regardless of the course's subject's settings.
