These configure how (or if) your volunteers can log into VSys Web.
Field name |
Description |
Require volunteer login |
If checked, in order to fill out an application, a volunteer must first create an account. Once the account is created, that volunteer can sign in later to see their hours, assignments, mandates, etc. and - as you permit it - update and enter new information as well. |
After their account is created... |
Once the volunteer has created their account online, if this is checked, they'll be unable to change that account ID. |
For volunteers with no web login ID |
For volunteers whose Web user ID field (on the Web/kiosk panel in their profile) is blank, No login on VSys Web: Volunteer will not be given a login on VSys Web. Use e-mail address for login: If the volunteer has a valid e-mail address not associated with an agency, delegation, parent/guardian or emergency contact, their login on VSys Web will be that e-mail address. Use kiosk PIN for login: If the volunteer has a kiosk PIN, that (possibly combined with Domain below) will be their VSys Web login. |
Domain |
When Use kiosk PIN for login is selected above, if this field is not blank then the volunteer's login will be his kiosk PIN plus this domain. For example, a kiosk PIN of "12345" and a Domain of "bespoke.us" would make their login on VSys Web "12345@bespoke.us". |
For volunteers with no web login password |
If a volunteer has a login on VSys Web, whether explicit or automatic above, and his VSys Web password is blank, this determines his automatic password on VSys Web. Basic (5-digit) ID: Password is the volunteer's 5-digit ID from the upper-right corner of his profile. This isn't a pretty value but it's one that you can send the volunteer by e-mail. Kiosk PIN: If the volunteer has a kiosk PIN then that value will be his password on VSys Web. If the PIN is blank he'll be unable to log in. Month/year from date of birth: If the volunteer has a valid date of birth, the month/year portion of that will be his password. For example, someone born on March 21st of 1990 would have a password of "0390". Volunteers with no login password and no date of birth will be unable to log in. No login on VSys Web: Volunteer will be unable to log in. |
The automatic web login ID and password settings are only effective in VSys One version 2.2.0.12 and later.
