The Sterling Volunteers Status tool gives you a quick insight into any Verified Volunteers issues.
What you'll see here are several types of things:
Status |
Meaning |
Scheduled task not run |
The scheduled task in VSys for sending requests to or retrieving requests from Sterling Volunteers has not been run recently. |
Missing scheduled task |
The scheduled task in VSys for sending requests to or retrieving requests from Sterling Volunteers either does not exist or is inactive. |
Send failure, Retrieve failure |
The scheduled task for sending or retrieving failed as a whole. This could mean that your Sterling Volunteers login credentials are incorrect. Click on the View link for more information. |
Send, Retrieve |
The scheduled task for sending or retrieving succeeded. You should still check the View link to see if any embedded errors were present, e.g. the failure of individual records to send/receive. |
Error |
Represents a specific Sterling Volunteers background check request with a Status of Error. This means that the request was rejected by Sterling Volunteers and cannot be resubmitted unless any issues are corrected and its Status set to Ready to send. Click View to see more information about this individual record. |
Ready to send |
Represents a specific Sterling Volunteers background check request with a Status of Ready to send. This is not necessarily a problem: the request may have only been added recently. But an accumulation of these, or requests which are old but not sent to Sterling Volunteers, should be checked. |
