List Manager

Set up global lists from the User tools using the List manager/Intellilists link or project-specific lists using the same link from within a project. Click on any list here to open it and bring up the list editor appropriate for that list.

Tools

Create new list	Creates a new standard list.
Create new temporary list	Creates a temporary list. Temporary lists are deleted when you exit VSys.
Create new Intellilist	Creates a new Intellilist.
Backup lists	Export one or more lists to a file for loading into VSys.
Restore lists	Restore lists that have been previously backed up.
Restore saved list	Restores a backed-up list. If the list already exists, it will be deleted, but not before prompting the user for confirmation. Note that lists backed up with version 2.2 and later cannot be restored with versions 2.1 and earlier. Lists backed up with 2.1 and earlier cannot be restored using versions 2.2 or later.
Refresh	Reloads the displayed contents of the list. Use this when other users may have made other changes while you're viewing the list's contents. Not available when the Save button is visible.

Setup

Setup list types	Defines lists types (groupings) which can be used to organize your lists.
Don't group by list type	Groups (or does not) the lists by list type

On the right-click menu

Right-click on a list to perform other actions on the list.

Create a new list	Creates a new list of the type you specify.
Edit	Opens the list for editing. Note that only one person at a time may edit a particular list.
Duplicate	Makes a copy of this list, complete with the people on it.
Delete	Deletes this list. Does not affect the people on the list beyond removing them from the list.
Empty list	Removes all people from this list. Does not affect the people on the list beyond removing them from the list. Not available on Intellilists.
Backup list	Backs up the contents of the list into a .zip file which can be used to import the list into another copy of VSys One.
Recalculate contents	For Intellilists only, tells VSys to re-run the filters for that list and determine who should be on that list now based on current criteria.
See tracked changes	View changes made to this list, including the times that an Intellilist has been recalculated.
Copy e-mail addresses to the clipboard	Copies the e-mail addresses, where available, for all of the people on the current list to the clipboard.
Send a letter	Brings up a list of available Letter templates. Selecting one will merge the people in the current list with that template for mailing.
Restore a saved list	Restores a backed-up list. If the list already exists, it will be deleted, but not before prompting the user for confirmation.
