Sending Interview Letters

Interview-based letters can be sent from the Interview Manager.

  1. Select the Interview types, then enter the interview date into the Date between fields
  2. Click Get interviews to see all interviews of those types on that date.
  3. Right-click on the list of interviews, and choose Select then All.
  4. Right-click on the list of interviews, choose Send a letter, then the type of letter to be mailed.
  5. VSys will merge the selected interviews with the letter template, and create the letters.
  6. If the letters are correct, print them or save them for later printing or e-mailing. Then click Save to return to the Interview Manager.

Letters to be printed for interviews should have "Interviews" as their Data source. This allows you to include all types of interview-based information like the start time, interview type, location, and other properties. VSys comes with one built-in letter of this type, you can copy and customize that to meet your specific needs. For example, you can have one template for regular interviews, one for "volunteer satisfaction", and one for screening results that you send after the interview.
