Notes on Availability

When you specify someone as "Available", this tells VSys that they can be given assignments on those dates and hours. Negative availability - indicating someone as "Not available", removes from their availability those dates and times you say they are not available.

Not all organizations track availability, and you can configure VSys to not show warnings when an assignment is given to someone who hasn't indicated availability.

Even if availability hasn't been entered for someone, and the availability warnings are turned off, it you try to give someone an assignment during a time when they're specifically noted as "Not available", VSys will still show a warning. This allows you to not enter availability for everyone, note for those who are known to not be available that they're not available during specific dates and times, and have VSys tell you when you make an assignment for when the person is known to not be available to work.
