Registering People

Concepts

Before you can work with a person in a project or give him assignments, he must first be registered. There are two primary ways of registering someone into a project:

• The Registration Wizard, which walks you through adding a person. Get to this by clicking on Register people from the Data entry/registration panel, or right-clicking on the list of people in the project and selecting Add, or selecting a person type from beneath the Add entrants section in the list of people in a project.
• Using a custom application form.

People can also be registered as a side-effect. When assigning people to job slots and the person you're assigning is not yet registered, VSys will let you immediately add the person to the project right then and there.
