In this mode, VSys One uses its data files directly, with the files usually stored on the same machine that VSys runs on. Only one copy of VSys can be running at a time, but this mode does not require any other programs to be running or any special configuration. (The VSys Kiosk or the VSys One Standalone E-mail Robot can't run while any other VSys product is using this database in this mode, either.)
