Updating VOXI (the VSys One eXchange Interface business logic), and
Updating everything else (Apache web server, Rails engine and VSys Live source code).
VOXI
Updating VOXI is the simpler of the two:
Stop the existing VOXI service(s),
Replace the existing VOXI.exe file with a new one,
Start the VOXI service(s).
Everything else
Updating VSys Live is exactly the same as installing it.
Stop all existing VSys Live services (Apache, VSys Live Rails, and VSys Live VOXI).
Re-run the installation process, providing the newer source files as needed (Apache, Rails, VSys Live).
Start the VSys Live services.
Because all settings and properties for VSys Live are in its database, not in the installed files, the installer can safely remove the existing files and services, install new/updated ones, and then configure the new services.
