VSys Live Kiosk Pages

Your VSys Live Kiosk site will normally be comprised of four or five pages:

  1. Login
  2. Messages
  3. Check in
  4. Check out
  5. Agreements (optional)

The built-in VSys Live Kiosk template site will automatically create these for you when you define a new kiosk site using the Add from template link.

Login page

This page must include the block "Kiosk Login".

The login page shows the login keypad, and you may also want to include here general information not associated with any specific volunteer:

After the volunteer has logged in, she may be taken to the:

Messages page

This page must include the block "Kiosk Messages".

If the volunteer has new messages, these may be shown immediately after logging in.

Check in page

To support checking in, this page must include the block "Kiosk Check Ins".

The check in page is used for checking in for assignments, trainings, etc., but can also show additional information about the volunteer by including other blocks. In this example, a block at the upper-left corner shows the volunteer's name, photo and date, while others show expiring certifications and trainings; upcoming assignments; and hours summary.

After clicking on a job to check in for, in this case "On-site assistant", the volunteer will get a confirmation prompt. Clicking on Check In will check the volunteer in for this job, and return the browser to the login page.

Check out page

This page must include the block "Kiosk Check Out".

A checked in volunteer is shown this page after logging in.

Agreements page

This page must include the block "Kiosk Agreements".

When one or more VSys Live agreements need confirmation, this page will be shown for the volunteer to confirm their agreement. The volunteer must click on and agree to each of these items before continuing.
