Job Value Measurements

In defining and working with Job value measurements, a few things to know:

• A job can have any number of job value measurements (including none)
• Job value measurements are calculated only when needed for reports
• Job value measurements can be interpreted in many different ways:
  • As dollar/currency values,
  • as fractions, for example 1/2 of each job's hours are associated with some measurement, or
  • as 1 or 0, indicating that the hours for this job meet or do not meet some criterion.

Define job value measurements on the Setup panel by clicking on Job value measurements under Jobs.

The example above includes the five built-in measurements. You can add any number of your own, and edit or delete the built-in ones. After defining your measurements above, you can apply them to individual job definitions.

There are several built-in job value measurements reports that you can use. These reports are based on the built-in measurements that come with VSys One. You'll have to modify those reports to include you own measurements or exclude the built-in ones.
