VSys Anywhere Tools

VSys Anywhere tools are tools just like those in VSys One, except of course that they're used in VSys Anywhere!

• VSys One tools can't be used in VSys Anywhere, and vice-versa. Most VSys One tools do have VSys Anywhere equivalents, though.
• As in VSys One, a user needs security rights to a tool in order to use it. Even if the tool is in their tool profile, if the user doesn't have rights to it, the tool won't be available.
• Behind the scenes, VSys Anywhere tools work like VSys Live action links: they're rendered the same way that action links are. But they can't be put directly on pages or menus.

Each tool has its own set of configurable settings, just like in VSys One, and these apply to one specific "instance" of the tool. For example you can have multiple "Person lookup (VSys Anywhere)" tools in a single tool profile, each with its own settings.

Some action links which show their data in a table using a datatable style allow you to override that datatable style. Doing so uses the Override datatable style or Override datatable style (mobile) instead of the default ones set for the site.
