Recurring Assignments

Concepts

Recurring assignments are copies of the same assignment, projected forward in time on dates that meet your criteria. Use these when the same volunteer will be performing the same job for an extended period of time or indefinitely. For example, an information desk volunteer who works every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9am-noon might be scheduled this way. On a person's list of assignments, recurring assignments show as a single line, encompassing potentially years of assignments together. The individual assignments which comprise the recurring assignment can be individually edited or deleted, and the recurring assignment itself can be extended again and again as long as the volunteer remains active.
