An eligibility/intake checklist is made up of three major elements:
Field |
Description |
Groups, People types, Volunteer types, Statuses, Lists |
Only people who meet all of these criteria can have one of these checklists. |
Virtual checklist |
A "virtual" checklist is never explicitly attached to any person, instead it's created when needed, tested and thrown away. Use virtual checklists when you don't expect to be making any manual changes to the checklist for each person, don't need to override any checklist's status and don't want to keep comments for any checklists. |
Automatic creation |
Do not create automatically: VSys will not automatically create a checklist when a person is edited. The first time a person is saved: When you manually create a new person's profile, if the person meets the requirements of this checklist (Groups, Types of people, etc.) and the person does not have one of this type of checklist already, VSys will create and save a checklist of this type for that person. Every time a person is saved: When you manually edit a person's profile, even if it's not the first time the person is being saved, if the person meets the requirements of this checklist (Groups, Types of people, etc.) and the person does not have one of this type of checklist already, VSys will create and save a checklist of this type for that person. None of these prevent the Automatically create eligibility/intake checklists tool from creating eligibility checklists of this type for people. |
Only one allowed per person |
If checked, VSys will not let you add more than one of this type of checklist to a person. |
"Virtual" checklists cannot be reported on since they don't actually exist: VSys only uses these for filters and job eligibility. If you need to report on an eligibility checklist's details, you should use a non-virtual checklist.
