Social Media Concepts

Posting to social media requires setting up one or more social media profiles. These profiles can then be used by the following tools within VSys: notifications and social media news.

After defining social media profiles,

• Create social media news items, then deliver them within that tool or using a scheduled task.
• Create notifications to be delivered via social media (awards, anniversaries, birthdays, slots needing people), then define a scheduled task to generate these notifications and deliver them.

Good practice is to set up a notification that verifies the status of your social media accounts, too. This way you'll be alerted if the logins to your account(s) aren't working so you can correct the issue.
