Get information about your organization?
Look for volunteering opportunities?
Apply online to be a volunteer?
Update their personal information?
Sign up for volunteer opportunities?
Look for and sign up for trainings?
Enter hours?
Send/receive messages?
See information about themselves and their volunteering?
Run reports for themselves?
Show information about and links to your sponsors?
Knowing this, you can decide what kinds of pages you want to have in VSys Live, how they should be arranged and how they all link together.
Initial materials
Beyond your site plan, the biggest thing you'll need that you may not have is graphics. You will probably want:
Several versions of your logo: small, medium and large. (PNG is preferred, JPEG is okay; BMP, Photoshop, Illustrator, Word and others are not suitable for use directly on a website.)
Style guide if your organization has one (ask your PR, marketing and/or web teams).
