Blocks

VSys Live comes with a series of built-in blocks that can be used within pages on each VSys Live site. These blocks are not hard-coded into VSys One and new ones can be added to VSys Live without re-installing or changing any other blocks. This list of blocks is an example and not necessarily definitive.

• Agreements (you may want to use the Agreements display action link instead: it supports "aggressive" display, basically taking over the screen until the user agrees or cancels to log out)
• Sign in
• Sign out

Many older blocks have been deprecated, that is replaced by action links which are smarter, cooler and more configurable.

• Check in (replaced by the Self check-in/check-out action link)
• Downloadable files (replaced by a listing view)
• Hours entry (replaced by the Self-hours entry action link)
• Job signup (replaced by the Job/opportunity lookup action link)
• Job suggestions (replaced by a listing view)
• Language switch (use Google Translate instead: it's much more effective and supports a wider range of languages)
• Message count
• Messages (replaced by a listing view)
• My info: Hours summary
• My Info Assignments (replaced by a listing view)
• My Info Awards (replaced by a listing view)
• My Info Hours Details (replaced by a listing view)
• My Info Trainings (replaced by a listing view)
• News Items (replaced by a listing view)
• Online Trainings (add these directly to menu items, or use a listing view)
• Organization calendar (replaced by custom calendars)
• Password reset (replaced by the VSys Live/VSys Anywhere password reset action link)
• Personal calendar (replaced by custom calendars)
• Reset Password (replaced by the VSys Live/VSys Anywhere password reset action link)
• Send messages (replaced by the Send message action link)
• Training signup (replaced by the Training lookup action link)
• Update user login password (replaced by the Update login and Update Password (new) action links)

While you can use regular blocks on a VSys Live Kiosk site, they're not designed for a touch screen interface and may not look as good.
