When volunteer hours records are posted for volunteers, VSys can apply bonus hour rules which can add additional hours and/or credit account records. If you've changed or added bonus hour rules, those changes are not retroactively applied to existing hours. The Recalculate the bonus hours for volunteer hours tool does just that.
Once an hours record has been credited using any bonus hour rule, this tool will not change how the existing rule was applied or apply another rule: this tool only affects hours records which have not had any bonus hour rule applied.
Steps in this task
Open the Recalculate the bonus hours for volunteer hours tool from the Administrator tools panel under Bulk update/create.
Choose the date range for the hours, and Jobs to be updated.
Click Get records.
VSys will show a list of all of the hours records which will be updated. Only records whose values would be changed are shown. Holding your mouse over an hours record will show the rule which VSys is proposing to apply to that record.
Check or un-check records as appropriate. You can make changes to the individual records themselves by clicking on them.
Click Save checked to update only the records which have checkboxes next to them, or on Save all to update all hours records.
