Background Checks

VSys integrates with several US-based background check vendors: IntelliCorp, Verified Volunteers and Commercial Investigations. In addition, VSys supports a generic background check request which can be exported to other vendors, but whose results would need to be entered manually.

Bespoke Software and VSys One only provide the tools to interface with background check vendors. We do not provide these services ourselves and are not involved in the relationship between your organization and the background check vendor. You are responsible for applying for, maintaining and paying for your own accounts with these vendors. In addition, Bespoke Software makes no statements regarding the quality or suitability of any of the services referenced here.

Background check processing in VSys is comprised of five steps:

1. Entering background check requests for individual volunteers.
2. Submission - online or otherwise - of these requests for processing.
3. Retrieval of request results.
4. Manual examination of results to determine the suitability of each volunteer.
5. Communication of results to volunteers and marking of volunteers as acceptable or otherwise in your data.

The types of background check requests available here will vary depending on which ones are enabled. Use the Certifications link on the Setup panel to configure this.
