In various places in VSys, you'll find panels and screens that display data in a table format of columns and rows, as shown on the list of mail merge letter templates below.
Here are some things you can do with these tables:
Change column width – Sometimes a column may be too narrow for you to see all the information. If you see "..." at the end of a field, that means that VSys isn't showing the end portions. You can make each column wider or narrower as needed by clicking the divider bar in the column heading and dragging it to the right or left.
"Clicking and dragging" means that you click on the little column divider bar, and keep holding down the mouse button while sliding the mouse in the desired direction.
Sort data – In most tables, you can sort the rows of data by clicking on the corresponding column heading. In the picture shown above, the table is sorted by Letter in ascending order. To switch that sort order to descending order, click on the Letter heading again. You can also sort the data by any of the other columns in alphabetic or numeric, ascending or descending order by clicking on that column.
Scroll bars – When a data table is longer or wider than the panel or screen size, you will see scroll bars on the right and/or bottom to help you access the data you can't see. Use the scroll bar to move up and down or side to side to view the data.
Digging deeper into the data and options – Clicking on an item usually opens it for more details. Right-clicking on it with your mouse brings up more options for working with an item. Right-clicking on empty space in a table brings up items you can do with the entire table, usually including creating a new item.
Searching - See the little funnel in the top right? That shows up all over VSys and helps you find a specific thing in that panel.
