VSys provides several ways for you to change how VSys "speaks", both by changing the language itself and by making changes to the specific terminology built into VSys.
Hints change the text which shows on the left side of each screen.
Object renaming changes what specific objects are called, for example telling VSys to call a "Coach" a "Helper".
Translations overrides the built-in translations of various strings in VSys, but does so for entire strings at once. For example, it can be used to change "Job slots and assignments into them" to "Openings and assignments into them" while not affecting "Jobs/slots calendar tool".
Translations search and replace is used to make global changes, for example changing "Job slots" to "Openings" everywhere without using the Translations tool to update each and every string that contains "Job slots".
Translations and Object renaming are independent: a string which is affected by object renaming will look, for example, like "%s type" to Translations. After Translations has finished with the string, the "%s" will be replaced by the object name, e.g. "Person".
Translations search and replace is always the last transformation made to any value before it's displayed. Once Translations has been applied, and after Object renaming has fixed up the "%s" values, then Translations search and replace is applied.
