Holidays

VSys can use holidays for communication (e.g. automatically sending Christmas or birthday greetings to someone when they log into the kiosk) and for knowing when certain jobs won't be done (e.g. no book deliveries on New Year's Eve). There are a large number of built-in holidays in VSys, and you can define your own as well.

From the Setup panel, click on Holidays.

There are three kinds of holidays:

• Those which occur on the same date every year, like New Year's Day (always January 1st!)
• Holidays with complex rules like Thanksgiving
• Magical holidays like birthdays which depend on the individual recipient.

Click Add holiday to create a new one, click on any holiday to edit it or right-click on a holiday to Edit, Disable or Delete it.
