Job Value Measurements Reports

There are three built-in reports for job value measurements. All three of these run very similar reports but look at different things.

• Focus Value Analysis: Assignment counts - looks at the count of assignments. This is the number of times a volunteer works at a job without reference to the number of hours she works.
• Focus Value Analysis: Hours - looks at the sum of hours volunteered by job, without looking at the number of volunteering instances.
• Focus Value Analysis: Unique volunteers - looks at the number of unique volunteers by job. It's not concerned with how many hours or how many times volunteers have done each job, it only looks at the number of unique people who do each job.

These reports are based on summary/crosstab reports and are run from within that tool.

Example: Focus Value Analysis: Hours

This report takes all hours during the reporting period and sums the various value measurements. Community-focused value will take every hours record, multiply its duration by the Community-focused value property of the job's definition, and then total that field for each job. The same is done for each of the other "value" fields.

All summary/crosstab reports generate Excel files that you can then open, re-arrange and print from within Excel.

Metrics must first be defined in the job's definition.
