Report Concepts

Reports in VSys have some common elements:

• One or more filters
• A Tools section where you can load and save report settings as well as design your report, add an image or "save as a shortcut" if those features are available
• Sorting options
• Output options which lets you choose where the report will print (screen, a PDF file, an HTML file, an Excel file, RTF file, e-mail or any one of your attached printers).

Mail merges, exports, and some other tools also share some of these elements.

Finding reports

On the VSys One home screen, you'll see the hyperlink Find a report along the left side. Clicking on that link brings up a dialog which you can use to select any built-in or saved report. Once you've selected a report VSys will take you into the appropriate tool for using that report. Use the search field at the bottom of the dialog box to keyword search for a report.
